It is typical for teachers to perform hands-on assists to students in class. If you are uncomfortable with this method of teaching, please let your instructor know.
No teacher will ever force or coerce a student into a posture. If you are ever uncomfortable in pose, be sure to ask the instructor for a modified form appropriate to your level.
Students are responsible for obtaining medical consent from their doctor to participate in any class. If you have concerns, past injuries, or are pregnant, please advise your instructor before class.
When using a studio mat, it is your responsibility to clean the mat with the mat cleaner before leaving class.
Arrive early so that you are in the studio and settled in your space before the class begins, especially when you need to purchase a class card. If you are late for a yoga class, wait to enter when the centering is complete and students have started moving. Enter the room quietly (it is disrespectful to slam the door or to snap release your mat.)
If an incident of any magnitude occurs in a class, please communicate directly with the Studio Director. Confidentiality will always be maintained.
We respectfully request that all cell phones remain outside of the studio.
On some occasions it becomes necessary to close the studio due to inclement weather. Consult the website and Facebook for cancellation announcements.
Class passes expire after 8 weeks from the date of purchase. There are no refunds or exchanges. Consider offering your card to a friend if you are unable to attend.
