We encourage registration online or via the Mind Body Connect App or The Nest Yoga App. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class starts in order to get settled into your space. Please note that we lock the door during classes so arriving on time is very important!
**Online registration is REQUIRED for all Barre and Restorative classes as space is limited in those classes. Should you reserve a spot in any class and not be able to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel within 2 hours of class. Should you not attend a class you’ve registered for you will lose that class from your class pack / drop-in. If you have an unlimited pass or membership you will be charged a “no show” fee of $10.
Warm Flow is an easy paced and approachable class where the movement is synchronized with breath in a smooth, flowing way. Ranging from a gentle and therapeutic pace to a mildly vigorous practice, you will be calmly challenged and energized in this class. By moving slowly and holding postures for several breaths, you will better be able to focus on alignment while building strength and improving flexibility. This class is done in warm room at approximately 79 degrees and is suitable for all levels. *Prenatal and beginner friendly!*
Vinyasa Flow *Heated*
In Vinyasa Flow we emphasize on sequencing moderately paced flows connected with the breath, sun salutations, along with basic to intermediate standing & balancing postures. We also incorporate more core strengthening and opening of the hips, shoulders and spine. This is a mixed level / intermediate class therefore recommend some experience on the mat. Modifications are always offered. Class is heated to approximately 82 degrees.
Power Flow *Heated*
Our Power Flow classes have more vigorous and playful sequencing and are heated to 82-85 degrees. We’ll flow through Sun Salutations along with standing postures and balance work and will also explore deeper twists, back bends, and powerful poses such as inversions and arm balances. Link breath with movement and “flow” with purpose between the postures in enjoyable sequences that work all of the major joints and muscles of the body. Having a consistent yoga practice is recommended but all curious and eager yogis are invited to join as modifications are always offered.
Hatha Flow *Heated*
Deepen your yoga practice and challenge your body and mind with our Hatha Flow class. This class moves at a slower pace & is more precise than our Flow classes, but just as vigorous, if not more so. You’ll move through a sequence of strong postures with longer holds while incorporating gentle flows in between. The longer holds will help you increase strength, flexibility and steadiness of mind, and also get the full benefits out of each posture. Suitable for all levels with modifications. Class is heated to approximately 82-85 degrees.
Warm Candlelight Flow
Don’t miss this Friday night, end of the week practice to help you transition from the work week into the weekend. Assisted by aromatherapy & candlelight, this class starts with a slow building flow followed by 30 minutes of a cool down and extended savasana. Class is heated to approximately 80 degrees. 75 minutes.
Hot Detox Flow
Unwind, reconnect and detoxify from the inside out. This mixed level class starts with a detoxifying and invigorating Vinyasa flow (with lots of twists added into the mix) and ends with some easy, soothing stretching and an extended Savasana (final relaxation) at the end. This is one of “hotter” classes set at 90 degrees. Some experience on the mat is recommended.
In Yin Flow we begin with easy, gentle movement while connecting to the breath and then transition into a Yin practice where we gently hold seated or supine postures for longer periods of time (2 to 5 minutes). This promotes flexibility and range of motion in areas of our bodies, joints and ligaments where we tend to hold tension (upper and lower back, hips, shoulders, etc.). Yin can also bring additional benefits similar to those of deep tissue massage and is a wonderful balance to our more active Vinyasa practice (a.k.a. our “Yang” practice). This is an approachable class for all levels and ages including athletes, beginners, expecting moms, seniors and even the most advanced yogi.
Warm Flow & Meditation
A studio favorite. An all levels Vinaysa (Flow) class that starts with a slower warm up accompanied with Pranayama (breath work) and ends with an extended Savasana and guided meditation. Class is heated to approximately 79 degrees and is 90 minutes.
This is a great class for anyone who lives with joint and back pain, is recovering from old and new injuries, or just needs to indulge in a little guided flow and relaxation. We take ample time to stretch and open up using props for assistance in each pose. These restorative poses invite the body to experience total relaxation in supported postures. The mind will de-stress while the body gently realigns, leaving you feeling relaxed and renewed. All levels are welcome to bliss out… 90 Minutes. **Online registration is required.**
This class is open to all levels, body types, and experience levels; especially for new students, seniors, students experiencing injury, or those wanting to slow down and “fine tune” their practice. Posture, meditation, and connecting breath with movement are slowly introduced. Students will learn proper alignment and how to use props to support poses and receive total benefit of each pose. Class is done is a warm room and is 60 Minutes. *Takes place on the 1st Monday of every month from 6:15- 7:15 PM.*
Gentle + Restorative Yoga
A gentle and approachable class designed for all levels and ages. Whether you’ve never been on a mat before or just need to unwind, stretch, and relax, this is the perfect class for you. This class is held at a slow, easy pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, especially in the hips and spine, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Class ends with some gentle, restorative postures allowing for the mind and body to totally relax and let go. Class is done in a cozy, warm room. All levels.
Yoga and Pilates Fusion
Improve your strength, flexibility, and mobility using a combination of standing and seated yoga postures accompanied with Pilates exercises and breath work. All levels welcome!
Barre is an approachable, safe and effective fitness method for EVERY BODY. Founded on the technique of dance, the mind body aspect of yoga, and the precision and core integration of Pilates, it is proven to increase metabolism, burn fat, lengthen tight muscles, and tone the entire body. Expect an extreme challenge (shaking is GOOD!) and to leave feeling stronger and calmly energized. **Online registration is required.**
